Sizing and Notes

Leotard Sizes

  • Size 00 - age 2 - 3 extra small

  • Size 0 - age - 3 -4 small

  • Size 1 - age - 5-6 medium

  • Size 2 - age - 7-8 Large

  • Size 3A - age 9 - 10 Extra Large

  • size 3 - age 11- 12

  • size 4 - adult small/medium

  • size 5 - adult large

Ballet Shoes

  • Soft ballet shoes are usually ordered one size above the students school shoe size.

  • Capezio Hanami stretch shoes are usually used for competitions and are ordered two to three sizes above the students usual school shoe size.

  • Soft blocks and pointe shoes must be fitted and cannot be ordered online. Shops like Dancia International will happily book you an appointment.

Ballet Shoes Tights and Socks

  • These items can be ordered in the closest colour to the students skin tone. We have provided as many examples as possible however shops like Dancia International may have further options.

Tap Shoes

  • Tap shoes are usually ordered in the same size as the students school shoes

Character Shoes and Skirts

  • Please do not purchase these until you know that you are taking an RAD exam that requires them. They are used very minimally in class so please don’t purchase them until they are really needed.

  • Character Shoes are usually ordered in the same size as the students school shoes.
